Hindustan Copper Shares Soar 7.36% on Global Copper Price Rebound
Hindustan Copper shares rose 7.36% to ₹568 apiece on Monday's market, following a surge in global copper prices due to declining inventories on the London Metal Exchange.
The increase in copper prices benefits metal mining companies like Hindustan Copper, which can sell their produced goods at elevated rates and boost revenue growth.
According to CME Group data, copper futures prices for the September 2026 contract were trading around 1.41% higher at $6.7065 per 25,000 pounds compared to the previous market close.
Hindustan Copper's Q1 net profit rose 162% YoY to ₹352 crore, while revenues climbed 81% in the June quarter, driven by the surge in copper prices.
