Hochschild Mining's financial performance has significantly improved in the first half of 2026 due to higher precious metals prices. The company's adjusted earnings more than doubled, reaching US$491.5 million, a 119% increase from the same period last year.

The stronger gold and silver prices offset lower production and higher operating costs. Hochschild's average realised gold price rose 47% to US$4,166 an ounce, while its realised silver price increased 130% to US$77.80 an ounce.

Despite a decline in attributable production to 151,830 gold equivalent ounces, the company maintained its full-year production guidance of 300,000 to 328,000 gold equivalent ounces. However, it increased its forecast for all-in sustaining costs to US$2,380-US$2,500 per ounce.
