Hochschild Mining Sees Earnings Surge Amid Gold Price Rise
Hochschild Mining reported a significant surge in its adjusted earnings for the first half of 2026, more than doubling to $491.5 million from the same period last year.
The company's revenue increased by 62% to $844.4 million, and profit before tax climbed to $365.8 million, driven primarily by a surge in gold and silver prices.
Despite lower production levels and higher costs due to increased royalties, taxes, and inflation, the mining firm maintained its full-year production guidance but raised its cost forecasts.
