Honey Badger Silver Sees 22-Year Life for PC Mine with Significant Production
Honey Badger Silver Inc. has announced positive results from its updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the PC Silver Mine in Canada's Northwest Territories.
The PEA highlights a potential mine life of 22 years, with an average annual production of approximately 3.7 million ounces of silver plus 157 million pounds of zinc, 118 million pounds of lead, and 2.2 million pounds of copper over the first seven years.
At spot prices as of August 31, 2026, the PEA estimates pre-tax life-of-mine free cash flow of $7.3 billion, with an NPV8% of $3.0 billion and a payback period of just 2.1 years.
The company's Executive Chairman, Chad Williams, commented on the results, stating that PC Silver has 'the potential to become a significant North American silver and critical-minerals producer,' generating substantial cash flow and long-term economic benefits.
