A Manhattan federal judge has granted industrial conglomerate Honeywell's bid to confirm a $46 million arbitral award against a Mexican construction company, Aje Group. The award includes attorney fees for defective and delayed equipment at a liquefied natural gas plant in Louisiana.

The court's decision allows Honeywell to recover the full amount of the award, which was issued after an arbitration process between the two companies.

Honeywell had filed a petition with the US District Court for the Southern District of New York seeking confirmation of the award and to enjoin Aje Group from challenging it. The court granted the company's motion, effectively ending any disputes over the award's validity.
