Global natural gas prices continued their downward trend on Tuesday as speculation about a potential deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz increased.

The Strait, which is a critical waterway for global energy trade, has been closed due to tensions between Iran and other nations. However, there are reports that a possible agreement may be in the works to allow for its reopening.

As a result, natural gas prices fell. The TTF (Title Transfer Facility) price in Europe dropped, while the JKM (Japan Korea Marker) price also declined.
