Hormuz Strait Under Fire: Oil Supertanker Blasted by Missile

An oil supertanker has been hit in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's Fars news agency. The attack took place eight kilometres off the coast of Oman.

The vessel is reportedly on fire after being struck by a missile. This incident follows a string of attacks on vessels in the strait, with UK Maritime Trade Operations logging three incidents on Wednesday alone.

US President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian proposal to reopen the strait on Sunday.
