Houthi Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities Spark Retaliation Threat
Houthi militants in Yemen have launched a wave of attacks against southern Saudi Arabia, striking oil facilities and other infrastructure. The attacks targeted 'civilian and economic sites' in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.
The Houthi military said the attacks were carried out in response to more than 100 Saudi airstrikes in Yemen over the past three days, which they claimed had killed numerous people.
Saudi Arabia has vowed to retaliate for the Houthi attacks, with its Foreign Ministry saying the kingdom would 'take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty.'
