Houthi Rebels Claim Bombing as Fire Engulfs Saudi Oil Facility
Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed that their stronghold in Sanaa was bombed on October 3rd, with residents reporting three loud explosions. The Houthi media office accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out the attacks but offered no evidence to support this claim.
Saudi authorities have yet to comment on the allegations. Meanwhile, a fire broke out at an oil facility in Riyadh, sending thick black smoke over the city.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, with Aramco and the state-run Center for International Communication not immediately responding to requests for comment. Oil facilities in Saudi Arabia have recently been targeted by drone and missile attacks carried out by Yemen's Houthis and Iran-backed militias in Iraq.
