Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a drone strike on an oil refinery in Saudi Arabia's Jizan Province. The attack, which occurred early morning hours, resulted in a fire at an auxiliary facility of the Aramco refinery.

Saudi authorities reported that no casualties were sustained and firefighting crews successfully extinguished the blaze. However, the extent of the damage to the facilities remains unclear.

The Houthi rebels' military spokesman, Yahya Saree, stated that the operation was carried out with precision and was a retaliatory measure against Saudi Arabia's incursions into northwestern Yemeni territory.
