Houthi Rebels Launch Surprise Attack on Saudi Oil Facilities
Houthi rebels launched a surprise attack on Tuesday using drones and missiles to target several facilities in southwestern Saudi Arabia, including oil platforms owned by Aramco.
The attacks took place amid escalating clashes in Yemen, where fighting has concentrated near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a strategic waterway connecting the Red Sea to the Suez Canal.
The targets reportedly included Abha International Airport, King Khalid Air Base, and oil platforms in the Abha and Jizan regions, according to Ansarollah, cited by AGERPRES.
