Houthi Rebels Launch Surprise Attack on Saudi Oil Giant
A major security incident has occurred in Saudi Arabia after Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels launched an attack on Aramco facilities in Riyadh using ballistic missiles and drones.
The attack comes amid escalating tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, as well as growing disruptions to regional oil routes linked to the Strait of Hormuz.
According to unverified satellite imagery, fires have been detected at or near the Aramco site, with NASA's FIRMS fire-detection data also showing unusual thermal activity in the area.
