Houthi Rebels Strike Saudi Oil Infrastructure Amid Escalating Tensions
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels have escalated their attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure, claiming a drone strike on the Jazan Aramco refinery. A separate unmanned cargo vessel was hit near Yemen's Mokha port.
According to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the cargo vessel was struck by multiple unknown projectiles and suffered a complete constructive loss. The incident adds pressure on Saudi oil infrastructure and Red Sea shipping as tensions around Yemen continue to rise.
