Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed responsibility for firing ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabian oil facilities. The attacks targeted state-owned Aramco locations in Yanbu and Jizan, two cities on the Red Sea.

The Houthi fighters stated that the assault was a response to recent strikes by Saudi Arabia, including those against the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen, which is effectively under Houthi control.

Saudi Arabia has not publicly commented on the alleged Houthi attacks. The conflict involving Iran has escalated an exchange of attacks between the sides, with both parties trading blows.
