Houthi Strikes Hit Saudi Aramco's Jazan Refinery, Taking Facility Offline

Houthi rebels in Yemen launched back-to-back drone and missile strikes on Monday and Tuesday against Saudi Arabia's Jazan refinery, one of the largest and most modern in the region.

The attacks caused fires and took the facility offline. Industry sources told the Wall Street Journal that the Jazan refinery has been taken offline due to the damage.

The strikes also targeted crude oil tank farms at Jazan and Abha, according to satellite imaging of affected oil infrastructure sites.

The Saudi foreign ministry condemned the attacks, stating that 73 civilians were injured, including women and children. The ministry accused the Houthi group of targeting civilian and economic assets.
