The Middle East conflict escalated on Tuesday, driving up oil prices to nearly $100 per barrel. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Houthi strikes targeting energy infrastructure injured 73 civilians, including women and children.

Saudi Arabia warned against the consequences of Houthi attacks, which also targeted vessels in the Red Sea. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that 'The Houthis, in many ways, are agents and proxies of the Iranians. I think behind some of this is clearly the Iranian hand.'
