Houthis Attack Saudi Capital, Claiming Sensitive Sites Hit
Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed to have attacked 'sensitive' sites in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, with missiles and drones on Sunday. The attacks came after a large plume of smoke was seen near the city's main airport, and flames were visible behind what appeared to be fuel tanks.
The Houthis said they also targeted an Aramco facility in the Red Sea city of Yanbu, a key Saudi oil export hub. This is part of a series of attacks by the group against Saudi Arabia, which has been ongoing since July.
Saudi Arabia's military coalition fighting the Houths said its air defences had destroyed a missile fired towards Riyadh early on Saturday local time.
