Houthis Claim Responsibility for Strikes on Saudi Arabia's Capital
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed responsibility for strikes on Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, after issuing emergency alerts across the kingdom due to a 'hostile aerial threat'.
Saudi authorities did not comment on what prompted the alerts, but they had previously reported intercepting Houthi missiles and drones.
The Houthis announced that their military operations using ballistic missiles and drones targeted both Riyadh and an oil facility in Yanbu, with Yahya Saree, their military spokesperson, stating that 'the two operations were crowned with success'.
