Houthis, Iraqi Groups Coordinate Attacks on Saudi Oil Infrastructure

Cooperation between Yemen's Houthi rebels and Iraqi groups linked to Iran has led to attacks on Saudi Arabia, according to two regional officials who spoke with Reuters. The assessments differ from the official versions of the conflict parties.

The officials believe that some strikes on oil infrastructure in eastern Saudi Arabia were carried out from Iraqi territory under the coordination of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Saudi Arabia, along with the US, conducted airstrikes on targets in Iraq that Riyadh said were linked to the attacks. The Saudi authorities officially blamed Iran-backed Iraqi groups, while the Houthis claimed responsibility for the attacks.
