Houthis Launch Devastating Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities

A wave of Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia has resulted in over 70 injuries and ignited fires at several oil facilities and utilities in the kingdom's southern region. The attacks, which targeted civilian and economic facilities, were carried out by the Iranian-backed rebels in response to recent Saudi strikes against them across Yemen.

The Saudi-led coalition, led by Major General Turki al-Malki, vowed retaliation against the Houthis, stating that they will take all necessary measures to deter the terrorist militia. The attacks also come at a time when the region is already destabilized by years of war and conflict.

The Houthi's military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying they were in response to Saudi aggression against their country and people. The Houthis have previously attacked Abha airport, a major industrial hub on Saudi Arabia's southwestern Red Sea coast.
