Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has denounced recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's civilian and energy infrastructure, calling them cowardly acts that put innocent lives at risk and jeopardized regional peace and security.

The strikes, which occurred in four cities in southern Saudi Arabia, injured over 70 people and sparked fires at oil facilities. The Houthis used drones and missiles to target a Saudi airbase in the city of Khamis Mushait, as well as targets belonging to Saudi Arabia's state oil company in nearby Abha, Najran, and Jazan.

PM Shehbaz emphasized that such attacks not only put civilian lives at risk but also undermined regional stability and security. He reaffirmed Pakistan's steadfast support for the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
