Houthis Launch Missile and Drone Strikes on Riyadh, Yanbu Oil Facilities
The Houthi movement in Yemen has claimed responsibility for missile and drone strikes on sensitive sites in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital, and oil facilities in Yanbu. According to a statement from Yahya Saree, the Houthi military spokesperson, the group carried out two operations using ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
The first operation targeted 'sensitive sites' in Riyadh, while the second targeted Aramco facilities in Yanbu. The attacks were allegedly in response to Saudi attempts to target Yemen's capital, Sanaa.
Saree claimed that the strikes were a direct result of these actions, but Saudi authorities have not confirmed any details on the explosions or damage caused by the attack.
