The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed responsibility for an attack on an Aramco facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The group stated that the attack was in retaliation for Saudi attacks on Yemen's Sanaa and other provinces.

A large plume of smoke and fire was visible near the oil facility in Riyadh earlier on Saturday, according to a witness who spoke with Reuters.

The Iran-aligned Houthi rebels have been stepping up their attacks on Saudi cities and energy infrastructure. Last week, they claimed to have attacked Aramco facilities in Yanbu with missiles and drones.
