The Houthis have launched missiles and drones at Saudi Arabia in response to airstrikes on the Red Sea city of Hodeida. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Houthis' military spokesman, said that the attack targeted facilities in the cities of Yanbu and Jizan belonging to Aramco, the world's largest oil company.

The strike is seen as an escalation in the conflict over vital shipping routes in the Middle East. The United States and Iran are vying for control of the Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway for global oil supplies.
