The conflict in Yemen has taken another turn as Houthi forces claim responsibility for striking Saudi Arabia's oil facility, causing major fires. According to Yahya Saree, Houthi military spokesperson, the operation targeted Aramco in Riyadh and hit its intended targets, resulting in fires at the locations attacked.

The Houthis alleged that Sanaa and other parts of Yemen had come under 60 airstrikes during the previous 24 hours, taking the overall number of reported strikes to 1,420. They blamed Saudi Arabia for these attacks, warning that further escalation would trigger a response from the group.

Saudi Arabia rejected the Houthis' account, with Turki al-Maliki accusing them of attempting to shift attention away from mounting battlefield losses and increasing public dissatisfaction with their actions and links to external forces.
