Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Tanker, Military Buildup in Yemen

Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for a missile strike on a Saudi-flagged oil tanker, Amzan, off the coast of Yanbu in the northern Red Sea. According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, ballistic missiles struck the tanker, causing it to catch fire.

The Houthis also reported targeting two military operations against Saudi buildups in the Al-Abr and Al-Wadiah areas, with ballistic missiles and drones destroying or setting fire to over 10 trucks carrying weapons from Saudi Arabia. The group claimed that dozens of people were killed or wounded, including commanders and officers, and several weapons depots were destroyed.

The Houthis vowed to continue enforcing maritime restrictions within their declared area of operations, warning that any escalation would lead to 'stronger and broader' attacks.
