i-80 Gold Corp. Pushes Ahead with Lone Tree Plant Refurbishment
i-80 Gold Corp. (NYSE: IAUX) is advancing its Lone Tree plant refurbishment, which will serve as a central processing hub for the company's underground mines in Nevada.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $430 million, with approximately 40% of capital committed and around 50% of procurement packages awarded. The refurbishment is expected to reduce current processing costs and increase cash margins between an estimated $1,000 to $1,500 per ounce of gold, depending on grade and gold price.
The project remains on schedule to achieve first gold pour in late 2027, with early works activities advancing well. Safety systems, training programs, and contractor onboarding are also progressing as planned.
