i-80 Gold's Granite Creek Project Boasts Robust Reserves and Production
i-80 Gold Corp has released the results of its feasibility study for the Granite Creek underground gold project in northern Nevada. The study shows that the project has initial proven and probable mineral reserves of 2.20 million tonnes grading 7.87 grams per tonne containing 556,500 ounces of gold.
The mine life is approximately 8.5 years, with annual gold production expected to be around 75,000 ounces from 2028 to 2032. At a base case gold price of $2,750 an ounce, the project has an after-tax net present value of $118 million and total undiscounted after-tax cash flow of $153 million.
The company's President & CEO, Richard Young, stated that the drill program successfully delineated and expanded the mineralized zones, demonstrating continuity within the structures. The project is expected to be a key source of feed for i-80 Gold's Lone Tree autoclave and carbon-in-leach processing plant.
