India Dumps Wheat Export Ban in Boost to Global Supplies
India has lifted its ban on wheat exports, a move that could ease global supplies strained by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The Indian government made the decision to permit wheat exports with immediate effect, according to notifications issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade via Bloomberg Terminal on Monday.
This change includes durum wheat, as well as flour and other products, building on a February decision to allow limited shipments of the grain.
