Gold and silver prices remained volatile in India on Tuesday as investors tracked global bullion prices and movements in the US dollar. The retail price of silver was quoted at around ₹2,31,190 per kilogram or approximately ₹2,311 per 10 grams.

In major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, gold prices fluctuated across different purity levels. In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced higher than 22-carat gold, with rates standing at around ₹14,968 per gram and ₹14,255 per gram respectively for 10 grams.

Market participants are also monitoring developments in crude oil prices and geopolitical tensions, which could influence demand for traditional safe-haven assets. Analysts said bullion prices could see further fluctuations in the near term as traders position themselves ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy announcement.
