Recycled and virgin polyester yarn prices rose by ~$*.**, *.** per kg during the week, while viscose yarn also increased by ~$*.** per kg on tight supply and firm demand. The new cotton prices in north India recovered by ~$*.** per maund as sellers resisted lower levels and ICE cotton strengthened.

In Ludhiana market, polyester-cotton yarn prices were steady, but the supply of raw material was limited.
