Indian Gold and Silver Markets Remain Stable on Gandhi Jayanti

The Indian gold and silver markets remained stable on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) across various purities. Benchmark gold rates stood at ₹1,50,540 per 10 gm, while silver prices tracked steady at ₹2,26,570 per kg.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures rose by 0.94% to ₹1,50,443 per 10 gm, whereas silver futures gained 1.22% to around ₹2,26,432 per kg. Major retail chains such as Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds quoted 22K gold at ₹13,680 per gram across most states.

Tanishq listed its 22K gold rate at ₹13,725 per gram. For 24-carat gold, Malabar quoted ₹14,924 per gram, while Tanishq stood at ₹14,973 per gram.
