The gold price in India has increased in major cities over the last 24 hours. On October 2, 2026, the 24-carat gold price rose by ₹1,040 to ₹1,50,280 per 10 grams. The 22-carat gold price also saw a hike of ₹950, with prices recorded at ₹1,37,750 per 10 grams.

The gold price remains unchanged across major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar. In fact, the silver rate in India has remained constant at ₹2,35,000 today, but the silver rate in Bhubaneswar saw an increase of ₹5,000 and is recorded at ₹2,45,000 per kilogram.
