Indian Gold Prices Edge Up, Silver Loses Steam

The Indian bullion market saw gold prices rise by 0.4 percent to 1,49,340 rupees per 10 grams, while silver softened after recent gains, dropping 0.6 percent to 2,27,030 rupees per kilogram.

In the MCX, gold futures rose impressively, currently trading at Rs 149315 per 10 grams, up 0.55% on the day, and reaching around Rs 150000 per 10 grams in the afternoon session.

The US dollar index was relatively stable today, while DOW futures were up 0.24 percent. The recent fluctuations in gold and silver prices have been marked by a lack of sustained momentum in the market.
