Indian Gold Prices Plummet as Domestic Market Sees Profit-Taking
Gold prices in Delhi plummeted by Rs 2,000 to Rs 1.47 lakh per 10 grams on Friday due to profit-taking by traders.
This marks the second consecutive day of losses for the precious metal, which traded at Rs 1,49,200 per 10 grams on Thursday.
Silver prices also declined by Rs 5,000 to Rs 2,24,700 per kg due to heavy selling in the domestic market amid weak buying sentiment.
In contrast, international markets saw marginal gains, with spot gold trading at USD 4,063.70 per ounce and silver rising nearly 2% to USD 58.59 per ounce.
