Indian Gold Prices Plummet by Rs 160 for 24-Carat Amid Market Adjustments

Gold prices in India have dropped by Rs 160 for 24-carat and Rs 150 for 22-carat over the last 24 hours, affecting major cities across the country. The current price of 24-carat gold stands at Rs 1,55,680 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is valued at Rs 1,42,700 per 10 grams. These prices were recorded on Monday and remain consistent with previous days in Bhubaneswar, the Capital City of Odisha.

The silver price in India has also decreased by Rs 5000, reaching Rs 2,50,000 on September 21, 2026. This drop is evident across major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar. The constant prices of gold are a welcome respite for investors who were bracing for further fluctuations.
