Indian Gold Prices Remain Stable Amid Global Market Trends
Gold prices in India have remained largely stable, with a slight dip seen recently. The retail market continues to be dominated by two purities of gold: 24-karat and 22-karat. While 24-karat gold is considered the purest form, 22-karat gold is preferred for jewelry due to its greater strength and durability.
The latest rates from top jewellers show that Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds are both quoting ₹13,230 per gram across major Indian states. Tanishq's 22K gold rate stands at ₹13,260 per gram. Malabar's 24-carat gold rate is ₹14,432 per gram, while Tanishq's corresponding rate is ₹14,465 per gram.
The marginal differences in retail prices are influenced by brand-specific pricing policies, procurement costs, and regional market conditions. Overall bullion trends continue to guide gold prices.
