Gold prices in India have risen across all cities as of August 18. The price increase was observed for both 22-carat and 24-carat gold, with a higher value recorded for 8 grams compared to yesterday's rates.

Gold Rate in Chennai: 22 Carat - ₹14,290 (up by ₹20) and ₹1,14,320 for 8 grams of 22-carat gold (up by ₹160), 24 Carat - ₹15,005 (up by ₹21) and ₹1,20,040 for 8 grams of 24-carat gold (up by ₹168).
