Gold prices in India have risen by over one percent, reaching Rs. 1.53 lakh per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange. According to goodreturns.in, the current price of gold in India stands at Rs. 15,535 per gram for 24-karat gold (99.9% purity), Rs. 14,240 per gram for 22-karat gold (91.6% purity), and Rs. 11,651 per gram for 18-karat gold (75% purity).

The prices have gained as investors are eyeing more global cues, tracking the US dollar and treasury yields easing. The rise in gold prices is a reflection of the market's cautious optimism, driven by decreasing interest rates and increased investor appetite.
