Indian Markets Rebound as Crude Oil Prices Plummet
Indian stock markets rebounded in early trade on Monday following a sharp decline in crude oil prices amid easing tensions in West Asia.
The Sensex jumped 566 points to 76,608.66 while the Nifty surged 153.60 points to 23,923.30.
Rajesh Palviya of Axis Direct attributed the market sentiment improvement to the US and Iran pausing military action, easing fears of an immediate supply disruption.
Brent crude prices tanked 4% lower at $92.84 per barrel, a sharp dip from its four-day high of $102.
