Indian Natural Gas Prices Jump Amid Cooler Weather Forecasts
Natural Gas prices in India climbed 2.16% to settle at ₹288.6, supported by forecasts for cooler weather over the next two weeks that could boost heating demand.
According to Kedia Advisory, lower daily production and stronger flows toward liquefied natural gas exports also contributed to the price increase.
The average US Lower 48 gas output so far in September was 112.9 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd), above the August monthly record of 112.2 bcfd.
However, daily production is expected to fall to an 11-week low of 109.8 bcfd due mainly to declines in Louisiana and Pennsylvania.
