Indian Natural Gas Prices Trend Lower, Analysts Predict Soft Start Tomorrow
Natural gas prices on MCX have been trending lower in recent sessions. As of September 11, 2026, natural gas closed at Rs 269.70 per mmBtu on the 25 September 2026 futures contract, down 0.3 percent.
Analysts from Univest's research desk are tracking global cues closely for the natural gas prediction for tomorrow, since commodity prices on MCX often move in step with international benchmarks and the US dollar index.
The key drivers for tomorrow's natural gas price movement include Brent crude prices, which spiked to a four-month high above 108 dollars a barrel on Friday, and the US Dollar Index, which typically has an inverse relationship with metal and bullion prices on MCX.
