Indian Stock Market Opens Lower Amid Rising Brent Crude Prices

The Indian stock market opened on a cautious note on Wednesday as concerns over rising Brent crude oil prices weighed on investor sentiment.

The Nifty 50 fell 131.35 points, or 0.56 per cent, to 23,503.75, while the Sensex declined 580.84 points, or 0.77 per cent, to 74,996.74 as of 9:18 AM.

Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, and Infosys were among the top losers on the Nifty 50 index, reflecting continued weakness in technology stocks.
