The Indian stock market experienced a strong rally on Monday, marking an end to its five-day losing streak. The BSE Sensex surged 549.21 points, or 0.72%, to open at 76,608.98, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 160.95 points to begin trading at 23,928.40.

The rally was driven by a combination of factors, including lower crude oil prices and easing geopolitical tensions. Brent crude fell by over 4% in the international market, reducing inflationary pressure on India's economy.

Additionally, positive earnings from major companies in the first quarter boosted investor sentiment. The India VIX, which measures market volatility, declined around 4% to nearly 13.48, reflecting reduced investor anxiety.
