Indian Stock Market Soars Amid Global Rally and Crude Price Ease
The Indian stock market began the day on a high note as both the Sensex and Nifty indices showed significant gains. The BSE Sensex climbed 162.87 points to 74,483.56 in early trade, while the NSE Nifty was up 43.90 points to 23,315.25.
The rally in global equities, coupled with easing crude oil prices, contributed to the positive sentiment in the market. Brent crude traded 0.93 per cent lower at USD 103.8 per barrel. Asian markets were also trading higher, with South Korea's Kospi, Japan's Nikkei 225 index, Shanghai's SSE Composite index, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index all showing gains.
However, some Tata Group stocks were trading lower, including TCS which was down 3 per cent. The Federal Reserve's hawkish stance continues to keep global sentiment cautious, with investors remaining wary of further tightening.
