Indian Stock Market Surges as Crude Oil Prices Plunge
The Indian stock market saw a significant jump in early trade on Monday as the Sensex rose by 470 points to 78,564.70 and Nifty climbed 150 points to 24,532.95.
This surge was largely driven by foreign fund inflows, which added to the markets' optimism during initial trade.
The major winners among the Sensex pack were ITC, Bajaj Finserv, InterGlobe Aviation, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys.
In contrast, Sun Pharma and Maruti lagged behind.
