Indian Stocks Fall as Crude Oil Prices Spark Inflation Concerns
The Indian stock market ended lower on Thursday, with the Sensex falling 417.49 points to close at 76,152.86.
The decline was fueled by concerns about inflation and interest rates, following a rise in crude oil prices.
Mumbai-based analysts said that the 24,000 level remains an important resistance point for the Nifty, while 23,800 is seen as a key near-term support level.
The broader markets performed better than the benchmark indices, with the Nifty MidCap index gaining 0.37% and the Nifty SmallCap index rising 1.2%.
