India's Consumer Electronics Market Faces Another Round of Price Hikes
India's consumer electronics market is bracing for another round of price hikes. From October 1, leading manufacturers plan to increase prices by up to 8% due to rising input costs and currency exchange volatility. This will be the third price revision in 2026.
The industry cites sustained increases in key inputs such as copper, aluminium, steel, and crude oil derivatives, along with higher freight costs, as reasons for the necessary price adjustment. Manufacturers expect this increase to affect a wide range of household appliances and consumer electronics during the upcoming festive shopping season.
