India's Gold Futures Plummet Amid Weak Demand and Global Price Slump
Gold futures in India fell to Rs 1.52 Lakh/10gm on Thursday due to weak spot demand and a decline in global prices.
The price drop was Rs 398, or 0.26 percent, for October delivery contracts on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Analysts pointed out that weaker spot demand was the primary reason behind the decline in precious metal prices.
