The current gold prices in India remain stable, with no significant changes recorded on September 25. Gold is still traded mainly in two purities: 24-karat and 22-karat. While 24-karat gold is considered pure, 22-karat gold is preferred for jewelry due to its strength and durability.

The prices of gold in India are influenced by several factors, including the international gold price, the exchange rate of the US dollar, and domestic demand, particularly ahead of the festive season. The latest rates show that 24K Gold is priced at ₹1,51,150 per 10gm in Delhi, while 22K Gold is priced at ₹1,38,554.

Jewellers such as Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds are quoting gold prices starting from ₹13,995 per gram across major Indian states. Tanishq's 24-carat gold rate stood at ₹15,316 per gm.
